Website Chat
Connecting the Website Chat channel.
To start using the Website Chat channel, you need to create a widget in the AlfaChat application and add the generated code to your website.
After the widget is installed, all messages from Website Chat will be available in AlfaChat.
To connect Website Chat, you need an active AlfaChat account and access to your website administration.
Creating a widget in AlfaChat
- Open Settings → Website Chat.
- Click Create.
- Fill in the form.
- In the Advanced settings section, you can add messaging channels that are connected to AlfaChat. In this case, visitors to your website will be able to choose how they want to contact you — through a messenger or directly through Website Chat.
- After filling in the form, click Save.

If you use a website builder, follow the builder's instructions for adding a custom script.
After successful installation, the channel is ready to use.
Checking the connection
After connecting Website Chat, we recommend:
- sending a test message through Website Chat;
- checking that the message appears in AlfaChat.
Website Chat has been successfully connected. You can now receive and send messages through AlfaChat.
