Connecting a Telegram account to AlphaChat.
Telegram
Connecting Telegram takes just a few minutes. Once connected, all messages from the linked Telegram account will be available in AlphaChat.
You will need a smartphone with the target Telegram account already logged in to connect.
Connecting Telegram
- Open Settings → Channels.
- Click Connect next to the
Telegram Personalname. - Scan the displayed QR code using the Telegram app on your smartphone.
- If two-step verification (2FA) is enabled for your account, enter your account password.
- Wait for the connection to complete.
After successful authorization, the channel will automatically appear in the list of connected channels.
Verifying the Connection
After connection, we recommend that you:
- Make sure the channel appears in the list as Active;
- Send a test message in Telegram;
- Verify that the message appears in AlphaChat.
Telegram has been successfully connected. You can now receive and send messages via AlphaChat.
Possible Issues
Unable to scan the QR code
Make sure that:
- The QR code is fully displayed on the screen;
- Your phone camera can focus;
- You are using the official Telegram app.
Password is requested
If two-step verification is enabled on your account, you will need to enter your Telegram account password after scanning the QR code.
Connection did not complete
Try reconnecting.
