Connecting the WhatsApp channel in AlphaChat.
Connecting WhatsApp takes just a few minutes. Once connected, all messages from the selected WhatsApp account will be available in AlphaChat.
You will need a smartphone with the target WhatsApp account already logged in to connect.
Connecting WhatsApp
- Open Settings → Channels.
- Click Add channel.
- Select WhatsApp.
- Scan the displayed QR code using the WhatsApp app on your smartphone.
- Wait for the connection to complete.
After successful authorization, the channel will automatically appear in the list of connected channels.
Verifying the Connection
After connection, we recommend that you:
- Make sure the channel appears in the list;
- Send a test message in WhatsApp;
- Verify that the message appears in AlphaChat.
WhatsApp has been successfully connected. You can now receive and send messages via AlphaChat.
Possible Issues
Unable to scan the QR code
Make sure that:
- The QR code is fully displayed on the screen;
- Your phone camera can focus;
- You are using the official WhatsApp app.
Connection did not complete
Try reconnecting, or delete the channel and connect it again.
