User Roles

Overview of user roles in AlphaChat.

User Roles

AlfaChat has two user roles:

  • Superuser
  • User

The role determines which capabilities will be available to the employee in the system.

Superuser

The Superuser has full access to the system.

They can:

  • View all dialogs regardless of access settings;
  • Connect and configure channels;
  • Manage users;
  • Configure access permissions for other users;
  • Change organization settings.

It is recommended to have at least one Superuser in each organization.

User

The User only works with the chats and features to which they have been granted access.

The User's permissions are determined by the settings configured by the Superuser.

Depending on the settings, the User can:

  • Work only with their own chats;
  • Work with colleagues' chats if access is granted;
  • See only the chats available within the configured permissions.

If an employee only needs to communicate with clients, the User role is sufficient. The Superuser role is recommended only for system administrators.
