Installation
How to install the AlfaChat extension from the Chrome Web Store.
The AlfaChat browser extension is installed from the Chrome Web Store. This is the current distribution channel.
After installation, the extension works in Chromium-based browsers:
- Google Chrome
- Microsoft Edge
- Brave
- Opera
- Yandex Browser
The install button label may differ by browser, but the steps are generally the same.
Installation
- Open the extension page in the Chrome Web Store.
- Click the install button. Depending on the browser, it may be labeled Add to Chrome, Get, or Install.
- Confirm the installation in the prompt that appears.
- If needed, pin the AlfaChat icon to the browser toolbar.
After installation, the extension is available in the browser where you added it.
For Microsoft Edge, Brave, Opera, and Yandex Browser, use the same Chrome Web Store page. Add the extension in the browser you want to use.
How to open the AlfaChat side panel
- Click the AlfaChat icon in the browser toolbar.
- If the icon is not visible, open the browser extensions menu and select AlfaChat.
- Wait for the side panel to open.
In the side panel, you can sign in to your AlfaChat account and work with conversations without leaving the current page.
If the side panel does not open, make sure the extension is installed and enabled in your browser settings.
